24 DC Redesign for the 50's

Here's my attempt for the 24 hour challenge during Generate at SCAD-Atlanta. I tried for the 52 DC redesign but come out with only 24. Nonetheless I'm pretty with the results as it has been too long since I've played with watercolours, it honestly felt like a true first kiss. I will definitely revisit painting again in any spare time I can find to keep love I've rediscovered.

Futuristic Underwater Military Transport

I wanted to go for something sleek and smooth that powers through the waters and yet look a bit aggressive. So I based the body off of a shark and went from there, reflecting the colours off of the environment. Mixed feelings on the design but overall I'm proud of what I've made in such time constraints. Hope to play with watercolours more in the future.

Environments Concept

The theme was 17th century balloon flying palace.


Yeah, I TOTALLY didn't like wake up super late and finally made it to the challenge with only half the time to spare. I was kinda glad I only had 45 mins to spare honestly, as this was the only idea I could punch out with in time.

Mega Image Dump

Posting a bunch of sketches for now as I haven't posted anything for the past two weeks. Some of these sketches were done during the winter quarter, mostly character designs and working out my cartooning hand. A pair or more pages were beach sketches when I went to South Florida to do some paper work. The final set are mostly gesture drawings and sketches done within 5 mins or less.

No jail will hold me.

A sketch that literally started from the center because at first I just wanted to draw hands hand cuffed by a dragon. Then it grew. And grew. Who would be hand cuffed in such a way? Why? What would they look like?

From there this was the end result, hope you like!

Heroes Con

Quite possibly the most amazing con I have ever been to in my life! IT was great, very family friendly and the artists were open to discuss and give not only portfolio reviews but meaningful advice to absorb. I am very eager to use the tips and guidance in my future works of art very soon. I was only sadly that some artists and my SCAD Atlanta professors could not be there.

Many thanks to the wonderful artists there that I have met and will personally send out emails of thanks.

Here's a sample of the work I've done for an Illustration class. The first is a design layout for a Karma Candy box and the second is the exterior and interior layout of a greeting card.

New Art

Here are some recent work I've done in the past week to appease the requests from my sister for more updates.

The first is a maze geared towards a Nick Jr age group even though Nick Jr magazine seems to be no more :(
The second is my initial design for a witch who is weak in character more than talent. After some analyzing, I will have to change the idea of her being afraid of heights in order to concentrate on her needs for the story I'm writing for her.

OMFG! Blacksad

Art Dump

Model study using markers I've grown into since last year I really disliked them.


I owed myself a long time ago, posting artwork that I've done worth showing. I hope to put up more work that are sketches and doodles worth sharing.

Good ol' Frankie's monster, I really enjoyed the uplit challenge on this guy.

Mayan poster, based on a story idea I had still working out the kinks to it before I really start to bring it to life.


First completed drawing in hatching in a long time, I really must get back into practice with the various techniques I know.


Finally some colour! I'm especially proud of this as it was the most difficult piece to accomplish with only a mouse to place highlights and shadows. I'll never neglect my pen tablet again! Well, until I get a slightly bigger one, ow cramp cramp!
